Located five miles outside of the city, the Airbus Factory Tour is easy to access if you’ve hired a car. The tour gives a fascinating insight into how much work goes into producing a plane, and the millions of tiny pieces that hold the structure together. A must see for aircraft enthusiasts and an enjoyable experience for everyone else, the Airbus Factory Tour is a great way to step onto one of the new Airbus super jumbos.

Canal du Midi

The Canal du Midi is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a fantastic place to take a nice afternoon stroll. Enjoy a boat trip on the canal and see all that Toulouse has to offer by boat.

Cordes Sur Ciele

A small village just outside the city ofToulouse, Cordes Sur Ciele is full of stone houses and wonderful streets. A little on the touristy side, this village still has an ancient charm and is a wonderful place to visit. Don’t go on a Tuesday when the village has it’s day off.

Carcassonne

The fortified city ofCarcassonneis a huge city built on the top of a hill, and really has to be seen to be believed. It’s size and grandeur makes it one of the most imposing places you can visit.

Expensive to stay in the city, guests are best to drive and visit for the day. Home to some wonderful fireworks displays throughout the year.

St. Etienne Cathedral is home to a range of tapestries, a rare decoration in a church of this size. The tapestries provide a rare insight into the history of the location around the Cathedral.
